Yea? Well yesterday we had affordable health care, yesterday we all had a living wage and employee protections. Yesterday we had a voting process that was legitimate. Yesterday we had representatives in government that at least pretended to represent the people. Every day brings the prospect of new horrors.

I do have my hopes pinned on our youth since they received better schooling than folks my age. Watching news interviews with Trump supporters, to be perfectly frank, their ignorance is appalling. I guess that I am lucky in having been schooled in Canada.

Willful ignorance in those who choose to believe in "alternative facts", because they want them to be true. We are in trouble when the facts are disregarded because it fails to reinforce core beliefs.
Teaching independent thinking and problem solving seem to be in greatest need right now over being politically correct.
