Indeed, that comment was from myself and from a personal POV I stand by it. I don't watch Fox news myself, in fact I've blocked it, but considering it's contributors, Rove, Palin et all and the ridiculous parroting snippets I've seen of the program it's nothing more than Liars World to me.

There's a steaming pile of false equivalence ^. How do you explain away a major university study that proved that Fox viewers are less informed than any others, including those who watch no news at all?

Yes the can can reasonably be said Fox won a case that said that it was legal for it to distort the news and fire someone for complaining about the distortion. Are you going to suggest that "distortion" is not the same a lying?

Quit distorting what the law is. That law applies to all media not just Fox.

I used to occasionally watch it on Sunday. I agree that Mara Liasson, Juan Williams and particularly Dennis Kucinich will indeed rot your brain.

Indeed. Funny how facts and scientific methods used to ferret out such facts have a distinctly liberal bias.

1) I said:

And of course, in citing 'Truth-Out" as supposedly questionable, you are ignoring the arguments and attacking the source, a form of ad hominum argument (technique 2).
(emphasis added.)

2) You quoted:

3) And you replied:

A twofer! Techniques 2 and 12.

Hey--technique 8 as well, if you consider the image of a marching manta....

Another non-story spun up by the left-wing echo chamber.

Fairleigh-Dickinson, quite a long way from being regarded as a top tier school, puts out a survey where every group of listeners of each media type got about one question right from each in a collection of rather subjective questions they were asked. The survey results for each group were within the survey's stated margin of error, yet this becomes an indictment of Fox News. Brilliant!
