Former Trump adviser Stephen K. Bannon was rightfully convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to testify in front of the committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack, an appellate court ruled Friday.

Yet another member of the Trump crime family will be heading to jail. Sad.

^^Very much doubt it. It took this court nearly a year for this judgement and it has given Bannon a week to appeal. So yet another appeal, another year of delay is what I expect. and now we have a pardoned and resurrected Paul Manafort in the mix for the upcoming general election.

The full Court of Appeals and SCOTUS are under no obligation to hear his case. They'll likely refuse cert and send him off to jail like his buddy Navarro.

He was a college classmate of mine at Virginia Tech, though I didn't know him. He had a different major and graduated a year later than I did.
