Scumbag indeed. I am in total concurrence with that statement, in regards to that singular individual. But not in the notion that because this one was a pervert and that one is entangled with organized crime that the entire lot is nothing but perverts and criminals, past present and future.

I do, however, see the tactic being employed here. It worked well for the demonization of organized labor, environmentalists, feminists, gays and the host of democratic institutions targeted by rightwing smear campaigns. So, why not go for the core? It'll probably work and then the GOP can finally establish single party rule......

That's when the real fun starts.

Whoo boy does it.

You'd think conservatives would know some history. But of course they just love a mythical past, not the real one.

Of course all the bad politicians are in one party. Names like Larry Craig, Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, Lewis Libby, Samuel Kent, Trey Radel, Rick Renzi, and Mike Crapo conveniently get swept under the carpet.

Let's not forget David Vitter. His Republican colleagues gave that diaper-wearing pervert a standing ovation on the freakin' floor of the freakin' Senate after he gave his "mea culpa" press conference.

Oh, and Bob Ney has come over to the light. He has a new book out that really rips the Repubs.

Poor Ms. Vitter that look of pain while she stands by her man. Don't these clowns have any feeling for their mates? How on earth can they claim to love them yet hold them up to ridicule.

Well, that's because errant Republicans, even when they confess, are portrayed as victims of "...vicious liberal attacks...", while errant Democrats are simply being "..exposed for what they really are..".

It's all over the rightwing media outlets, every day of the week, Mark.
