Aren't homicides down over the last twenty or so years? I'm not so sure that the occasional horrific murder spree lends much support to the anti-gun cause. Is there a causal connection or mere correlation between the availability of guns and homicide rates? Moreover, one wonders why both Afghanistan and Iraq have been so diificult to subdue if small arms are so ineffective against the U.S., or for that matter the former Soviet, miltary.

Now, for you, DJ. It's true that most blacks and Hispanics vote for Democratic candidates. The reasons for it are obvious, of course, but it doesn't follow that those blacks and Hispanic who are gang bangers or drug dealers vote Democratic or, for that matter, even vote at all. I seriously doubt they give a shit one way or the other who gets elected to what. It's all the same to them.

Oh, and what about white gang bangers and drug dealers? Do they vote Republican?

As for illegals voting Democratic, they... you know... don't vote... Democrat or Republican. It's illegal, of course, and the chances of getting caught aren't worth the risk of deportation so they keep as low a profile as possible.
