I'm truly surprised our resident fascist isn't over in the George Santos thread, defending him against all the "fake news" "allegations".

A new single released by a choir of men who are in prison for their participation in the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, features a recording by former President Donald Trump as the backtrack.

The song, “Justice for All,” features the incarcerated men, referred to as the “J6 Prison Choir,” singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” from a jail in Washington, DC, mixed with Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Trump recorded his part recently at his Mar-a-Lago home at the request of a group that supports the families of those incarcerated for their actions on January 6, according to two sources familiar with the song’s production.

I bet some of these are the same ones given slap on the wrist sentences by lenient judges. Before tRump gets sent up the river I feel it's going to get ugly around here.

No shit. Pence is too self-absorbed to realize that he has no constituency. MAGA hates him, establishment GOP thinks he's an unprincipled, obsequious twit, and Democrats have never had any use for him.

It's gutless shit like this that precludes any support from anyone other than Mother.

No, he's handed the job off to 'history.'

Trump claims violence he inspired on Jan. 6 was Pence’s fault

Donald Trump on Monday sharply rebuked Mike Pence’s assertion that history would hold him accountable for the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, telling reporters that his former vice president should shoulder the blame for the violent riot that day by Trump’s supporters.

“Had he sent the votes back to the legislatures, they wouldn’t have had a problem with Jan. 6, so in many ways you can blame him for Jan. 6.”

That's some Whellian logic there, fellas.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Four associates of the far-right Oath Keepers group were found guilty on Monday for their roles in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, but the Washington jury remained deadlocked on some serious charges for two other defendants who did not enter the building during the chaos.

Oath Keeper associates Sandra Ruth Parker, Laura Steele, Connie Meggs and William Isaacs were found guilty of obstructing an official proceeding - a charge that can carry up to 20 years in prison, as well as several other felony and misdemeanor charges. Reuters

Sure hope they give these traitorous scumbags some real time, as in 20 to life in the federal pokey.
