the gop and child abuse

i am not sure why but the gop was on my tv this morning telling me i should slap around my kid again. they do this pretty regularly but i still don't get it.

what exactly is the point of slapping around your kid?

what made them speak to this today? anyone know?

ON A POSITIVE note, it appeared that (begrudging) they no longer advocate whipping children with belts.

so i guess some progress has been made?

It makes them feel tough and in control.

ill admit that spanking a kid is better than not imposing disciple but when fox finds a shrink to say he thanked his dad for beating him with a belt because other wise he would have started stealing cars i have to wonder...

Fox is on a constant harangue about the society going to hell in a handbasket. Somehow, they think life was all peaches and cream in 1959 and we should turn back the hands of time over 50 years.
