Russia's economy getting weaker by the month as oil revenues decline - never a good sign. Historically, when the Russian economy tanks they make life miserable for their neighbors.

Putin making a ton from this deal - Iran/Russia talking new arms deal - Iran now has umpteen billion unfrozen dollars to buy Russian military hardware.

It seems that the sanctions were already on their way out whether the US wanted it or not. The Europeans are still recession for the most part and they want trade with the Persians.
I'll bet the US MIC is salivating like a dog to sell arms, too.

This thread was about the US economy.

So why did you divert it to Russia?
