Seas are not rising. The land is falling. Dead serious. Look at tides over the last century at various places all over the world. In some places the "sea" is rising and in others, it is falling while in still others it is unchanged.

It's because the land also rises and falls. Read a book on geology some time. Or just read this:

Lots of charts and graphs and a bit more scholarly than the finance and commerce piece.

A quick quote:
"And even in 1982 they were doing junk science. NASA excluded data where the land was rising (like Scandinavia) but used data from places where the land is sinking like the east coast of the United States."

The problem with the real estate on the US coastline is not rising seas. It's falling land.

Its both (land sinking & sea level rising).
