AIG Sues US For What?

http://www.latimes.com/opinion/edito...010-story.html

So we the people buy 92% of AIG at over 10 times it's value to keep it afloat and now Hank Greenberg is suing the US? WTF?

As it says in the opinion column, "Ultimately, the better solution is to let failing financial companies fail."

It's like a four year old suing because his seven-year-old brother got a bike for Christmas, and he got a trike.

Yep. Of course, the real problem is not that there's an ambulance chaser who would take the case, it's that there's an attorney, now a federal judge, who would grant them a trial for it. And for anybody ready to suggest that it's the law...then the law is a ass. But then we already knew American law is basically a ass.

Sheila Bair had the right idea, bail out the people who were about to lose their home. That would indirectly bailed out the banks and sustained the housing market. But Geithner who was chummy with Goldman Sachs bailed out Wall Street instead
