As a matter of fact it was Immelt who closed down every GE operation in Ohio and shipped the work overseas. Take a good look at a GE lightbulb, incandescent or flourescent, all made in China. Sylvania is the only US manufacturer left.

All I know is that one of the GOP's own potential Presidential candidates (Bachmann) would likely fail the civics test, having thought the battles of Lexington and Concord were fought in New Hampshire.
