not quite, I work with funding that provides services to senior citizens.

This year I will be old enough to qualify for the services I oversee. I'm starting to take this stuff a little more seriously .

Good for you.

Of course, you do understand that some of the folks see this as "welfare" too..............Until it's them that needs it. Then, of course, it's service well deserved. Owed to them, even. Because they are such "Great Americans".

Yeah, I understand all too well.
When one of those people is denied a service (due to various legitimate reasons) I'm the person they get to talk to in an effort to appeal the decision.
Those kind always start out saying, "I've paid taxes all my life and I deserve.."

Passed by Congress like greased lightning. I guess if you are an affluent business traveler? You are much more important than a kid in Headstart or an elderly cancer patient waiting for lifesaving chemotherapy. Talk about a sickening mindset in congress.
