Despite claims to the media from the 911 caller, Golden's great-nephew Roy Jones, that Golden fired her weapon twice before being shot, McCabe said Stem is "100 percent sure" she did not shoot her gun once police were on scene. McCabe added that he's listened to the audio recording from the police car and did not hear any evidence of Golden firing her .38-caliber revolver.
