Pope Francis likes the Big Bang and evolution

And some people thought the Jebbies were archconservative iconoclasts with viewpoints a couple of centuries in arrears.

Let's see, he is willing to excommunicate the Mafia members for murder.
He reaches out to gays and lesbians, believing they have special gifts to offer the church.

And now in a single interview he offers a considered viewpoint that the church is comfortable with evolution and a Creativist Big Bang.

Oh yeah, almost forgot his homilies about serving the poor, and placing love and mercy before moral correctness.

Yep, this all sounds so mid 16th century. :-)

Why not believe in the Big Bang theory, who do you think threw the switch?

The Catholic Church can now believe in anything...it is rapidly shrinking in the
first world.

Here in New York they are closing churches and schools left, right and center.

Which explains why the Cardinals elected a Jesuit.

What they need to do is get rid of that stupid assed celibacy requirement for Priests and Nuns. No wonder the Church is full of fucking preverts.

I've never believed the Big Bang or evolution was inherently anti creation?

In theory, I can perceive the hand of God in both?

Indeed the creationists talk of six days, so please define 'day'.
