Out of three systems only the Dell is Chinese, my error in believing Michael was a good businessman, in any case it was a company deal at my last place. We don't have cell phones and don't want them.

Mom wasn't aware of that either. She thought I was such a good kid, sitting right next to her in church every Sunday, (That was all just a smoke screen to keep her opinion of me artificially inflated with the whole "God and Country" thing, as I secretly cavorted licentiously with easy girls and imbibed copious quantities of alcoholic beverages and the demon weed..........................after all, I was a Republican back then.)

It's "projection", Rob. One who thinks like a Fascist, expects others to think the same way.

Anal for kids! Down with the popular vote!

Facists would certainly agree with the second

Hate to tell you Rob -- but ALL your monitors were made offshore. As probably were the motherboards and power supplies, mice, keyboards, ect in your "american assembled" PCs.. Get a tourniquet... We haven't made monitors in this country for about 10 years now unless you count Pentagon style wall displays..

Sounds like you and the demon weed were probably Libertarian at one time --not a GOOP-per...

Speaking of GOOP-ers.. They are pissing me off today with their (subsidy repeal) = tax hike nonsense.. Doublespeak bullfarts..

My HP V-72 monitor bit the dust about two years ago. We bought it new in Nov. 03, the day after Thanksgiving. Just so happen, my brother inlaw upgraded to a new flat screen monitor just about the same time my monitor bit the dust, and he gave me his Gateway 2000 Crystalscan 15 monitor that he bought new in 1994 and used until giving it to me. So far, it's working perfect and is about 10 years? older than my HP that failed.

You did not ask how old our monitors are, and there are many mobos made in Taiwan, I have no bone to pick with the Taiwanese, taught several of their software engineers. Since I am sitting in front of this monitor I think I am in a better position to know where it was made.

Well, I did think they actually stood for "Freedom" and "Putting America First", at the time. (1970s-'80s.) Then, I realized that all of the "Special interest groups" they were out to beat down were just Americans exercising their 1st Amendment rights*. There is something just a hair un-American (And a little Fascist.) about that that sticks in my craw.

Dave

(*Which would include anyone attempting to build a serious Libertarian Party, would it not?)

Libertarians would have the feds force their agenda on locals too.
