When you can't beat 'em join'em. I'm still pissed at that group for stopping a trolley I was riding while I was on the way back from a night of drinking in Tijuana. That was twenty years ago. Those two were arrogant pricks typical of government employees. It is a tough job with all the PC limits on their action. I wonder how all the diversity hiring has worked within ICE

On the other hand, I noted an article just the other day that said deportations of illegal aliens are at an all time high, and the ACLU is having a cow about it. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Some 400,000 got the boot, and over half of those had criminal records. Good riddance.

Illegal immigration is and always has been a joke. Just take a drive through the orange groves of Florida. Who do you think the workers are? Yup, you got it. Mexicans here illegally. That could all be cleaned up in a day if anyone really cared. But we wouldn't want to pay an extra dollar a pound on oranges, now would we?

The war on illegally immigration is second only to the war on drugs in sheer stupidity and uselessness. Just another way to watch your tax money wasted so that corporate America gets cheap labour.

It happens all the time. Some in law enforcement cannot resist the rewards of illegal drugs. The shame is that the society at large is ambivalent to the weed.

It is undeniable, illegals contribute heavily to criminality in the US. They view US as soft. Some has been deported more than one time. What I cannot understand is Sanctuary Cities. A Bin Laden character should love this.
Texas recently executed a Mexican who was claiming that he was not given "consular rights". It was exposed that there were 51 other illegal Mexicans with similar issues on DEATH ROW.

I don't want them. We already take more immigrants per capita than you guys do.

However, America DOES want them. Otherwise, they would have no jobs to come to in the US. Why do you figure they run across the north border and not the south one?

Greedy US corporations getting cheap labor that way. That is all it is and all it ever will be. The problem would end today if someone actually took the people to task who gave them the jobs. But you can't challenge corporations in 21st century America, can you? They are the ultimate social benefactors, afterall. Just solid citizens like all other Americans.
