I don't know why the Marines need to be stationed at the Iraqi embassy.
This is a job for the 7th Cavalry.

Those are the folks that will be staying behind. "Military Contractors" The same pricks that get us into wars and keep us involved in them. They are the ones that own Washington and call the shots.....(at least where the IMC is concerned)

This is based on the premise that we NEED to maintain a presence in the Middle East, a lot of really smart people say we do.
But I'm not so smart. We've already asked too much from our troops, the politicians have allowed this situation to denigrate into another Vietnam, so I'm of the opinion that it's time to take our ball and go home.
From both Iraq and Afghanistan.
I'm an isolationist at heart. Hell, I'm from Bugtussell and I like it here...that pretty much says it all.
Besides, we still have a bunch of nukes, and that aint' the only card we got up our sleeve. I could buy a few hands with that much easy.

Post of the year right here.
The Iraqi and Iranian, and Afghan towel heads were killing each other when I was born, and will be killing each other when I die. I would however, like to see Israel turn Iran into a sheet of glass before I go.

Heck there are even marines stationed at the embassy in Ottawa.

Why is Obama waging an illegal war with Canada!? Is there no end to his thirst for human blood?

I stand corrected.
If they're all like my old buddy who was a 101st alumni, they ain't afraid of nobody or nuttin'...and they pretty much do as they damn well please. Tend to be pretty sneaky as well.
Have to admit, he did make me a little nervous whenever he showed up with a Ciener.

The Bugtussell philosopher strikes again. Sure am glad you decided to come back here, Chas - even when you're putting a smart-assed labor lawyer in his place.
When you're dead wrong, I'll be happy to tell you, though.

D-Ray
