By the way, I don't see much reason to respond to this. Its not a news story. Its been going on for years. In fact, I think we've posted on this before. Remember the posts from a few years ago showing the kids sitting on top of trains coming up through Mexico, and the buildings in which they were warehoused when they got here?
A lot of those kids, we discussed at the time, were sent here alone, or with other siblings, cousins, whatever, but in many cases they were travelling without their parents.
So, nothing really new here. The only thing that's new is the left's breathless attempt to blame, which is nothing new either.
So, by all means, yap on....

We all know your head is firmly planted up Donny’s ass.
It’s interesting how many educated intellectuals on the right are so outraged by Trump, yet ignorant wingnuts like you are so supportive. Is is your complete inability to have a rational thought that makes you so easy for him to pull his Con on you? Or is it more due to your bigotry?

That doesn’t stop Trump of course from lying to the American people about his own heinous policy. The Post reports:
President Trump doubled down Monday on his false insistence that Democrats are to blame for the administration’s forced separation of migrant children from their families at the border, even as a growing number of Republicans urged him to reverse course. . . .
“I say, very strongly, it’s the Democrats’ fault,” Trump said. “They’re really obstructionist. . . . The United States will not be a migrant camp, and it will not be a refugee holding facility. It won’t be. You look at what’s happening in Europe; you look at what’s happening in other places. We can’t let that happen in the United States, not on my watch.”
Contrary to Trump’s claims, the separations largely stem from a “zero-tolerance” policy announced with fanfare last month by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. As more families are stopped for illegally crossing the border, adults are taken to detention facilities that are effectively jails, and children are sent elsewhere.

Trump claims Germany’s crime rate went up by 10 percent. It went down by 10 percent.
Trump is cherry-picking crime stats to paint a scary narrative around refugees.

Yeah, one of those fervent lefties:
Jeb Bush
@JebBush
Children shouldn’t be used as a negotiating tool. @realDonaldTrump should end this heartless policy and Congress should get an immigration deal done that provides for asylum reform, border security and a path to citizenship for Dreamers.

Although there is something new here. At least what is happening with the Border Patrol at our southern border. Trump changing policy, within the law, to keep a campaign promise made to his politically incorrect base is something mainstream politicians don't do.
Morally speaking, are you for or against ripping children from their parents' arms? I'm against it morally. Politically speaking I'm also against it. Morally many Republicans are against it, but because Trump's their guy they're stuck with him whether they like it or not, at least until the midterms . So where do you stand morally? Are you one of us, a bipartisan/independent group I might add, or one of hem?

True, with "us" being decent Americans.

If Jeb were president we'd still have the tax cut, maybe be working toward an ACA reform bill and still have normal international relations.
Jeb's also positioning himself for 2020.
