Could this happen in the US?

Rotherham: In the face of such evil, who is the racist now?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...acist-now.html

An appalling case of female child abuse.

Warren Jeff's FLDS church in Colorado City, AZ certainly deserves an honorable mention for that type of depravity.

I can say with assurance who one racist actor is. Allison Pearson, under whose byline in the Daily Telegraph, the following sentence appeared:

Quote:
Men of Pakistani heritage treated white girls like toilet paper.
Regardless of what crimes were committed, that sentence is a textbook example of race-baiting.

Because he reported the overwhelming ethnicity of the evil doers involved.

She. Among the things you didn't see was the picture of the reporter?

And because of 'reporting?' You call that reporting? I call it race baiting BECAUSE it was done with lurid flaming language, as opposed to just sticking to the facts. There was a blatantly obvious aim to evoke a racial emotional reaction.

Toilet paper? Are you really deaf to this stuff?

That over the years effort have been made to suppress the fact that men of Pakistani origins have been targeting very young white girls.

OK. Deaf to the fact that people often have a big emotional reaction to "treated white girls like toilet paper" that they wouldn't have to the alternative way real reporters would say it. For example, instead of the 'toilet paper' phrase, a real reporter might say '...sexually exploited middle school girls.'

The reaction to "Pakistani...white girls...toilet paper" will often be the triggering of racial animosity. I say this reaction is intended. And doing that is wrong, even if the perpetrators had racist motivations, and even if they escaped prosecution due to people making too much allowance for racial animus against them.

Triggering racial animosity is wrong. I'm not saying the crimes are OK, and not saying any other wrong thing is OK. But I insist triggering racial animosity is wrong. Everywhere, always, no matter what.

It can happen anywhere. However, the men who committed these crimes just happened to be "Muslims of Pakistani heritage". They did not commit these heinous crimes because they are Muslims of Pakistani heritage.

See the difference?

An oversensitivity to ethnic bigotry may be at the root of these crimes going unpunished for so long. But, the article itself is as Don put it, classic race baiting.

Muslim Pakis committed these crimes. All Muslim Pakis are NOT rapists.
