I've been watching the Young Turks and Elliot Spitzer, not to mention that "Sexy Liberal" Steph Miller for some belly laughs in the AM.(She's got an AM radio show every morning in L.A., I don't know if it's broadcast out of Kansas City.) I could check if there's any interest? Bill Press is too early out here on the left coast, as in 3AM to 6AM. Hopefully I'm sleeping then. MSNBC has pissed me off on a few occasions with an attempt at fair and balanced which ignored the fact that false equivalence doesn't have any place in the telling of the news. Faux is simply a parisan group who's very weak in vetting their stories. Fact checking doesn't even seem to get any consideration when they are preparing a story, that's a charitable opinion, cause they don't seem to verify shit before broadcast time. I've no use for 'em no matter how much skin they show. Topless might make stand up and notice. CNN is a broadcast version of USAToday IMO which the last time I looked was a headline shouting pamphlet taken from the newsfeeds. It has been a number of years, so maybe that has changed. PBS, NPR, BBC are pretty dang solid in my opinion, in that order.
Al Jazeera is one I haven't looked at much as those guys were broadcasting un- cut those American kidnap victims being beheaded back in the day. Not really responsible journalism in my book.

Young Turks is always fun, never heard of the gal though. I usually listen to music from my clip unless Rush is on, then I tune in the radio. I usually watch Fox every night from Shep up to but not including Hannity. I really don't know how anyone can say O'Reilly isn't fair and balanced. I'm pissed at him 1/2 the time, and agree with him 1/2 the time. Surely the left hasn't forgotten about that soft ball interview he gave Obama. I thought he totally pussed out on that, but it was probably all pre-arranged or they wouldn't let him do the interview. O'Reilly is usually a fairly tough interview, ask the banking Queen.

O'Reilly is a guy I can deal with when he is human. For example when he appears on The Daily Show he leaves his ego at the door and has a genuine conversation. Sure he plays his Fox schtick a bit but it is clear what he is doing. He even gives a smile and almost appears like he is trying to hold back a wink-wink at the camera.
What bugs me is how he conducts his show on Fox. His go-for-the-throat style seems to rub off on his viewers and they bring that behavior to public discourse such as internet discussions. They think that is how debate is done. For people like me who argue for a living and have to say "with all due respect" and mean it, the O'Reilly style is almost an instant turn off. The only time I can get into it is when I have a few beers in me and want to let a few yo momma jokes fly. Or worse. Things can go ballistic in a hurry when someone lights my fuse on those days and I hate myself for it.

Stephanie Miller is the daughter of Barry Goldwaters running mate back in '64.
You probably won't dig her, she's a lesbian. You probably shouldn't call in to talk on air with her, she would tear you a new one Jay.
Cenc of the Young Turks is killer and great for some gotcha moments. IMO.
Jennifer Granholm ain't too shabby for an ex-governor from Michigan (or is it Illinois?)

I see CNN on my lunch break at work. Half an hour a day.
Beyond that, if I hear about something, I search it up in the interwebs and read it from multiple sources. It's amazing how you can find the exact same article, written exactly the same way from several different sources. It used to be because the info was shared through AP or UPI. But, nowadays there are all sorts of politically motivated sources......Heritage Foudation, CATO, Brookings, Breitbart.................

No, you got me all wrong, I love lesbians, as long as they are good looking. What's hotter than two hot babes making out? Nuttin, that's what. It's a guy checking out another guys hairy ass that creeps me out.

Barry Goldwater. Saw an interesting biography of him not long ago. Very interesting charactor. He had an interesting take on gays....he said, he realized that after his grandson was born that homosexuality was something a person could be born with. "We knew from the time he was very small, that he was effeminate. We tried to steer him to more masculine endeavors to no avail. The damned thing is that I love him with all my heart anyways. He's become a wonderful young man."
Did you know Hillary Rodham once worked for Barry Goldwater (And Richard Nixon)? She was President of the Wellesley Young Republicans in college.
