Thank goodness! The CDC was WAY too early in easing the mask restrictions, IMO. Too damn many unvaccinated fools around here. I'm wearing a mask when I'm in stores for the foreseeable future. Haven't used one when out walking for months, though, as the risk there is miniscule.

My question is how do you know who's been vaccinated and who hasn't. Out in "free air" I probably won't have the mask on but indoors, you betcha'.

California has extended the mask requirement order effective yesterday (I believe), so it is going to be interesting to see what is going to happen. On my trips to Raley's grocery store and Costco, everyone was wearing a mask. I plan to wear a mask indoors in public until the pandemic is truly under control which will take another year or two, and I blame our politics of division for that.

Well I am glad of the lifting in some areas. I have been fully vaccinated for almost a month and I am getting tired of wearing a mask at work for 10 hours/day when I don't work anywhere near another person. That will be changing tomorrow. Those of us who have been fully vaccinated for over two weeks can now work with no mask.

Did you even read the article? 16 "cases" are "linked" to an event in which "More than 60 teams from at least 52 Minnesota counties participated in the tournament."

Cases, not deaths. And the link is just a presumption even then.

If you ignore the opinion part and just look at the facts in the article, it makes the case that going to the event was perfectly fine.

I rarely used my mask but I don't even carry one any more. I pass through doors that have "masks required" in bold letters on the door - not wearing a mask - and nobody says a word.

Masks are over except for a few radical left wing places in the country. We're getting back to business. However, the day my WFH ends is the day I retire. I'm saving 3 hours a day and $750 a month (after taxes) in commuting costs. That money has added up. So has the time. I literally have been living a completely different - and better - lifestyle since this lockdown started.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

I blame the MSM for your thinking it is not under control. It was under control a year ago. We flattened the curve.

Good news is that I am actually sane so I don't have to qualify myself as not being insane. You on the other hand, regardless of your proclamation, are still insane. We hit the Covid-19 peak in the US in January 2021 under the Twice Impeached Moron (TIM). If you think we flattened the curve a year ago, you are 'Yesterday'.

I am also quite gratified to report that in our company which I own, we gave our employees the option of going maskless if they have been fully vaccinated two weeks prior. Amazingly no one is inside without a mask and most are younger except for one trumper, who of course is not vaccinated.
