Just because Wingnut News chooses to not cover news that reflects poorly on your Trumpenfuhrer doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. However, even the wingnut Washington Times covered this story, albeit buried deeply behind all its sensationalist pro-Trump idiocy. Meanwhile,
FBI Director Christopher Wray said Wednesday that he’s “deeply concerned” about foreign companies like ZTE gaining access to the U.S. telecommunications network, days after President Donald Trump sparked controversy by expressing a willingness to save the Chinese phone-maker...
“That gives them the capacity to maliciously modify or steal information, that gives them the capacity to conduct undetected espionage, that gives them the capacity to exert pressure or control,” Wray added.

Well, I hope all this "deep concern" was around before the 2016 election. ZTE Has a US based subsidiary that's been operating here for years. I guess we should shut them down too?
Sounds like you're getting a bit Sinophobic there, Finn.

Never thought I'd see Republicans cozying up to the Chinese communists but then they sold their souls to a cheap New York grifter and racist in 2016.
Sad.

Trump's own Commerce Dept fined them $1.2 billion for violating sanctions.
