Net worth, or big business vs the little guy...

So we're told

Did some adding up. The way: added the average of their worth range. By the million only so rounded down for simplicity. Stopped at less than one million and simply counted the number of submillionaires. Did not count any with net negative average (something fishy there imo). Did not count independents (who generally vote Dem).

Drum roll please! :

Dem Congressfolks: $2,013,000,000
Dem Submillionaires: 165

GOP Congressfolks: $1,219,000,000
GOP submillionaires: 105

From 2008 btw.

About even my foot! The DEMS are the party of the rich. Sorry for any holed theories

Pete

Now divide by the numbers of Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

'k. 282 dems, 247 reps, so dems = 7.14 mil, reps = 4.94 mil.

Do a sort on "All of Congress" and "Poorest" and you'll find 20 of the 25 poorest are Dems. I'm not sure any of this proves anything.

BTW, WTF is a submillionaire? Hell, nearly everybody on the planet is a submillionaire, methinks.

And 15 of the wealthiest 25 are dems too. Perhaps it means that the gop best represents middle America lol.

It was easier to type submillionaire than those having less than a million

+1 and +1. Look at the Kennedys. Now look at Reagan. Being "from money" is no predictor of social or political philosophy. Now, being of money.............
