Walter Egan - The Collection

Lead guitar & vocals of a local band in DC called Sageworth & Drums from Georgetown U back in the 60's and 70's.

A good friend of the Buckingham Knicks who hit the charts with 'Magnet & Steel' with Stevie Knicks.

Hiya Walter! if you're out there in the ether.

I do not know. Maybe one of the Hapsburgs or some German princeling?

You are still intellectually sharp. A friend said he knew he was in trouble, when simple addition and sentence forming became tortuous.

Yet loud, clear memories are gifts.

Nevermind, saw the other one again, he's different. Has crown, not pointy hat. Both have upraised arms though, that's what had me going.....

On edit: this is the guy, turns out he's Richard the Lion-Heart

Gifts or curses, depending.

In that vein...

'If I Could Only Remember My Name' by David Crosby

We were riding back to have ourselves a party
to celebrate the robbing of the train

Hmmm...I guess I am influenced by my 102-year mother who is gifted with a very sharp memory. She is the bank one goes to retrieve people and happenings.

I have a terrible memory. Wow! I just remember that I have tapes of tabla/sitar music of Indians who lived in Queens, New York. Those guys use to play for hours. Now, where did I put those tapes?

In the meantime.
Hum Dono: Joe Harriot & Amancio D'Silva Quartet.
Indian/Jazz fusion.

I remember endless stuff, most random, triggered by some association or other. Couldn't get an old commercial jingle out of my head yesterday. Meaningful stuff like you go to your mother for is more elusive.

I wonder if Nora Jones has ever worked on any sort of 'fusion' like that.

Depending on the remember's perception, that is. I'm seeing mine as gifts.
