God, they're so petty........................

Pun intended.

Who cares? This is another amusing thing about Republicans----the religious bigotry is amazing. What would an individuals religious beliefs, or lack thereof, have to do with their ability to do the job? So Romney and Huntsman are Mormons.....I don't care. The only time I would care is if they tried to force Mormonism on me.

And, I don't hear either one of them running around claiming America is a "Mormon Nation". Do you? It's the whacko evangelicals I fear more than anyone else, in this regard.

"Yeah, but Blue. The evangelicals support Jewish Israel."

Yep. But, is it because they love Jews, or is it because..........

Not to surprising now is it? There are some Christians who will argue Catholics are not Christians. I also and so have you probably have overheard conversations about religion where ones faith is better then an others. You know the old "My God is better then your God".

Belief in the Rapture and wanting to speed it up does have something to do with the connection with Israel.

It will be interesting to see what happens if Romney gets the nomination. Will the Christian right hold their noses and actually vote for a heathen? Then the question comes up of which is worse, a Mormon or a black (tho, based on my experience with a lot of them, they won't state it quite so gently)? Might drive some poor religious rednecks crazy thinking that one through.

I'm more concerned about the Mittster being all too willing to invade Iran and start a trade war with China, or so he said at the debate. Wonder how he intends to pay for all that?
Of course he could have a different policy next week as usual.

You don't think the Chinese will lend us money for the trade war?

It's pretty obvious to me that most "Christians" have zero grasp of the definition of Christianity. It's shocking how even less know the teaching of the religion.

I'll use this for a very simple example, If you are a Christian do you honestly believe that Christ would be standing next to you in support of killing folks half way around the world that you've never even seen let alone spoken to in an effort to find out if they really are the enemy. Do you think Christ would stand in support with you as you say "they just need to pull up their boot straps" as you watch folks continue to starve and suffer and be robbed by the very same folks charged with thier care? Do you think Christ would stand next to you in support as you shun and persecute his loyal followers and believers and say "they don't do it the way we do so they are not one of us"?

I'm guessing most "Christians" would answer yes to at least one of these which would in turn contradict everything they claim to believe in.

Well, see that's why we need to eliminate all of the entitlements going to all of those old farts that are just to lazy to get their dead asses out of bed and go to work. So we have more money to spend on blowing shit up and killing people. Don't you know that if you destroy half of their country and kill most of their people, they will become your friend? WTF, Man, get with it!

I mean, who needs Social Security and Medicare, anyways? F**k those pussy ass, socialist handouts! It's far more important to know your country has a badass military than it is to eat.........Right?

Well, ........It is.......Isn't it?

And what did God say about a rich man getting into heaven? Odd that the party of the Christian right is the one most likely to forget it.
