To still support Trump is to totally suspend disbelief. If you still support a guy who lied to you 31,000 times as President, snuggled up to dictators and despots, continued his financial crimes throughout his presidency, supped with and supported NeoNazis and capped it all off with a violent insurrection, nothing he does or says now will drive you away.

It says a lot about your values, judgment and gullibility though.

What it says is people are loyal to their identity group and it's leader. This is wired in.
