I never thought I would be sympathetic to the 'man' (as in taxman) but these attacks on a bunch of accountants who generally are a very conservative bunch go too far.

They are just government workers Bob....actually providing a service to the Tea Party and other "patriot groups" by approving their 501c s. Some see people working for the government as parasites but I do not.
Of course I am biased.

When I was listening to the Tea Bagger Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee today castigating the IRS and by extension the American government I was thinking what other group does not like the American government?

As you might imagine, given our location near DC and given that as originally here on an H1B, then getting a green card after we were married, then naturalization we have had a decent amount of contact with civil servants. Right there is the operative word - civil. None ever gave me a hard time. I have been screwed over by many a private employee, or they have tried to.
