Those audits asked for a lot of info. They asked for web pages, Facebook pages, politicians that they endorsed, their publications, etc.
It wasn't about money. It was about moleing into their network to work even harder at pissing them off and starting some domestic shit.
The rednecks are being gamed hard by the neocons. That's my take.

Aren't government employees allowed party affiliations?
So if I am a Dem working for the IRS, pass up a chance to over reach a bit in my job?
Of course, if the WH is implicated all bets are off.

They'll be screeching soon enough that R$R would've won the election if the IRS had greased the skids and granted tax exempt status sooner.
Funny thing about all of this is that these new political groups (501c tax exempt)were applying in droves to the point of overwhelming the process. The IRS was understandably unprepared to deal with it seeing that the progenitor of these dark money groups was born with the Citizens United decision by the Supreme court shortly before the tea sipper takeover of the Republican party in 2010.

Though IRS's actions seem pretty unsavory from what we now know, I fully endorse hassling and humiliating any scoundrels who labels themselves as "patriots." As for the Teabaggers, I wish they'd all move to Glennbeckistan and lock them inside that gate, never to be seen again.

Won't they need to actually break ground first.....
Wonder how many "Patriots" will be losing money on that one......

They'll undoubtably follow the Jim Jones model once they lock those gates to their shining M16 factory on a hill in Idaho. They certainly are paranoid enough to follow that caricature of a pied piper, Glenn Beck, if it ever gets off the ground. Can anybody imagine these idjits surviving an Idaho winter?
As for breaking ground? It's a ponzi scheme, clear and simple. They may clear off a hilltop but that'll be it...Gotta love that Norman castle architecture, though. Curtain walls and all.

Nobody said no republicans are guilty of cheating on their taxes.
You will find tax cheats on both sides of the fence. That's not what this
is about anyway. This is about people being targeted because of their
political and ideological beliefs.
