Oh Dear!

I just heard from my supervisor at work how Trump's proposed budget would impact social services. (I work in the Human Services Agency)

It is devastating!

He is proposing to eliminate several funding streams that are critical in providing basic needs for the poor and elderly.

It makes me sick.

Maybe Trump ought to try eating cat food for a week so he can afford his medications.

He wouldn't last a day if he had to walk in the shoes of our most vulnerable Americans.

Not to worry. His budget is going nowhere. It is even more fatally flawed than his ridiculous TrumpCare plan.

Agreed, but then again, I do not trust the GOP headed by a Ryan.

Between this, the news of the great barrier reef dying, I think it is time to start thinking a little more aggressively about our impending future and how to deal with it.

I really don't understand the thinking of the working class people who put him in office. Did they really think a silver spoon multimillionaire who has spent his life insulating himself from the rabble and screwing over the working man would suddenly turn over a new leaf and actually work for them? We're either a nation of fools, or just gullible as hell...or both.

That, and they apparently haven't been listening to what the 'Pubs were saying that could screw them

Watch the PBS Newshour interviews with Trump voters, the vast majority are three bricks shy of a load.

Trump pointed his finger towards at immigrants as being the problem and he was going to do something to fix it and make America great again. And they believed him and elected him. Thus the EO's covering immigration which has stalled. Most of them still vehemently support him because they don't know any better. How do you reason with people like this?
