Teenage girls want relationships with older men – that’s why it’s men’s responsibility to say no

The authoress makes the mistake of generalizing from her own case. Actually, some do, some don't. I did have the privilege, based on being the brother of a 3-years-younger-sister, of hearing girls in their mid teens discuss the amorous ambitions of older men. They were not kind.
I think the most usual pattern is that even if adolescent girls may fantasize about male teachers and such, a person like that who actually makes moves 'creeps them out.'
This is not to say, of course, that a man does NOT have a responsibility to say no, in the case of a young lady who does come on, which I don't deny happens sometimes.

Here it is again, from your favorite rag:
The outrage against the Republican Senate candidate from Alabama is entirely fitting, but the terminology is not. Moore is not a pedophile. If you believe his accusers, as we do, he is a powerful man who has serially harassed and even assaulted teenage girls.
The difference matters. Moore’s alleged crime was not a sexual orientation toward children. It was his willingness to exploit the unequal power structures of gender and age to victimize young girls who couldn’t stand up to him. To understand Moore as a monster outside medical or societal norms is to ignore the ways that his position enabled him to take advantage of his alleged victims.
Wow...he's sounding more and more like Clinton, Franken and Conyers all the time.
|
Mince words as you wish. He sexually assaulted minors and you're defending him just like your boy James O'Keefe attempted to do and your Dear Leader did. As an unapologetic Trump and Moore defender, your morals are in the gutter.

What is hypocritical of whell is that while calling for Franken to resign for his equally unproven sexual exploits, he wants the voters of Alabama to decide whether Roy 'Teen Molester' Moore is fit to represent Alabama as their junior senator?

NBC kicked out Matt Lauer. Hmm, the sexual predators in position of power are falling like dominoes.

Any minute now there will be a male complaining about a female who has sexually harassed him.

When Clarence Thomas is thrown off the Supreme Court for what he did to Anita Hill, when Trump is immediately thrown out of the oval office and prosecuted for the rape of a 13 year old "Jane Doe" in 1992, when Roy Moore is thrown off the Alabama Senate ticket and prosecuted...then Al Franken should resign from the Senate.

The one and only positive from the Trump phenomenon. Is that as of the Access Hollywood incident, harassment is no longer tolerated. Looked over swept under the rug. By the any of the Left now anyway, the Right still seems to get a pass. But their day of reckoning is coming. Then it will be shown for all to see just how much hypocrisy fills the Right.

The good thing is that promotion of the Clintons will be much harder.
