Your slip is showing
I've always sorta groused about the ruling class in this country. The small cabal of 1%'ers that rule over us. A democracy isn't really supposed to have a ruling class, that's for monarchies and dictatorships. the media is careful to keep up the illusion that we have some sort of democracy in the US of A. Today CBS slipped front page - acknowledges we have a "ruling class" in the country.
When you have a ruling class, you don't have a democracy or freedom. Todays headline:
Will GOP establishment rally around Ted Cruz?
To stop Trump, Republicans' ruling class may get behind guy they otherwise hate
It isn't what the voters want...it's what the ruling class wants. If the ruling class does not want Trump, how bad could he be?

Exactly!
+1
That's why he is my #2 choice for President after Bernie Sanders.
As for Hillary, the ruling class has donated tens of millions of dollars to her campaign.
And they've payed her hundreds of thousands of dollars to give talks to them.

I'd take trump over cruz any day. In fact if cruz is the candidate, I might even hold my nose and vote for Hillary.

The difference between Trump and Cruz:
Trump wants us to elect him driver because we like how he talks, even though he's crazy, prone to road-rage, and sure to crash into something.
Cruz lets us know he's rational and totally in control, and promises, if elected, to drive us over a cliff.

Then give me the bumper car ride. Mine, and many other's, favorite childhood amusement park ride. Trump's also like a roller coaster.

I actually agree if the choice is Trump vs. Cruz.
Continuing the analogy, I pick Hillary as the driver over Trump. She's far from the best possible driver for the truck-of-state, to be sure. She'd drive it too much like a car, wreaking some havoc by scraping things with the trailer on turns. And a lot of the goods supposedly in the van will have been misdelivered at the end of some runs. Still, I don't see her totally plowing into traffic with it, or yanking the wheel and jackknifing. That's what Trump will do.
