Sony is and should be getting a huge black eye over this decision to shelve a satirical and goofball flick. I'll bet their Twitter account is all a'twitter over this from the younger set.
Ok, off my soapbox.

Bob, grab a chair, sit down and brace yourself, cuz you and I can actually agree on this. As I see it right now, thanks to Sony's cave-in, N Korea just chalked up a victory. And they did it using old fashioned blackmail. I'm sure you noticed that the next thing NK did after Sony caved was to try to push the ball further down the field by demanding even more conditions from Sony.
And by the way, Sony wasn't done caving over just one film. They decided to shelve another project that dealt with NK - related subject matter:

I think its time Stuxnet paid a visit to Pyongyang.

Is it true that Sony is re assessing their reaction to this attack and looking to make the flick available?

I hear ya but in my opinion the best way to deal with this twisted little piece of excrement would be braying laughter.
We oughta quietly threaten Bejing with some steep tariffs until they pull his tiny fangs.

I wouldn't be surprised Steve. Sony just got millions in free advertising for this dumbassed stoner flick. They better strike while the iron's hot.

There's speculation that President Obama referring to Sony's decision to cancel the release as a mistake has caused Sony to rethink things but there's nothing official yet.

My take as well, also the general American public pushback which I predicted to a friend would happen.

So...some psychotic neighbor threatens to kill you if you don't remove the crech from your front lawn and you immediately run out, gather it up, and throw it in the garage?
Zero leaves his balls in his other pants. Big surprise from the big talker.

C'mon, it ain't balls, it's politics. Any stick to beat Obama. In this case, hypothetical casualties from NK terrorism will of course be his fault, not the terrorists.
