Up off the floor
Everyone can have a bad year or two or three . . . but the Chiefs have clinched a home game in the NFL playoffs, after going 3-13 and 4-12 the previous two years.
So after a shellacking in the polls in '10, maybe Obama and the boys can come out of 2012 with a real mandate for governing.  Regards, D-Ray

This is America. No one has a "mandate" for anything here. GW thought he did in '00 and '04...Wrong and wrong! The Dems did in '06..Wrong! Obama did in '08...Wrong!
It seems the politicians have the Republican and Democratic Parties, while the American people are staunch members of the Contrarian Party. Dave
