Microsoft Silverlight
Don't know how this got installed on my 'puter, but I've been suffering with blue screens, slow software, freezes, etc. for the last 2 or 3 weeks.
This morning I couldn't even boot in safe mode. After about 15 hard restarts, I finally got Windoze to open and deleted the Silverlight program. So far so good, and Bill Gates ought to be shot for turning loose crap like this. Chas

I guess you just don't need a powerful development platform for creating rich media applications and business applications for the Web, desktop, and mobile devices.
 It really is powerful technology that offers compelling experiences.
