How can the Republican party possibly justify this nonsense?

Same way the Democratic party justifies it's own nonsense. It's like a T-intersection, one turns left or right. Same difference.

Election Math 201:

The GOP has got 5.5 million more votes than the democrats. so based on this total number of votes cast, better odds of a GOP victory in the general election.

If anything, a comparison of the two parties' primaries is encouraging for Republicans, as they have drawn about 5.5 million more people to vote than Democrats.

The 5.5m will not translate well if in the general election the Republican party nominee is too extreme.

Note the raised eyebrows, I am being sarcastic.

Looks like Time Warner is firmly in the GOP column. Monday CNN had a Town Hall devoted to the Kasich family. Tuesday it was time for America to say hello to Trump and hod brood of department store manikins. Finally lat night was Cruz's turn to introduce us to his family. Tonight should be Bernie's or Hillary's turn with the other Democrat introducing their family on Friday right? Wrong. Tonight we get to see Hillary and Bernie treating each other badly in s debate.

CNN has no plans to do Family Town Halls for either Democratic contender. This sucks.

I am visiting family and friends in Chicagoland now and none of them are for Bernie. I mean not one, they all sound like Bob and Ice though infinitely less knowledgeable about our political system. Reason given is Bernie is not electable and nothing to do with his message. This sucks too but I am returning home late tonight.

Raj, show them all the polls that show Bernie does better against the Republican candidates in the General.
