Retirement is awesome.
So far today I've checked to make sure my monthly pension check got direct deposited OK (it did), taken a morning walk, did a few bench presses, and changed a light bulb.

I think I'll take the rest of the day off.

I've had less productive days. So far I've got a box of tapes packed-up to send to a guy, and I expect to get the Baby Advents I refoamed put back together. And there's daily maintenance, I participate in cooking and washing and feeding the pets and stuff. Really, it's just one thing after another. Generally, considerably after....

Went to the park to exercise and chat politics with the early morning retirees.

Helped my daughter with her final year college calculus.

Checked with nearby second hand book seller. Lately I have been collecting
books in Spanish and have found some gems for a dollar each.

no more projects for me.

I am starting to just leave stuff at the thrifts.

LPs and especially nice items for me, these days. The Advents had been sitting around here forever, finally getting them in shape to move on.

Did just snag a pair of Advent Legacies a couple weeks ago. Don't need 'em, but they were close to going to the dump. Couldn't have that.
