I think American just got a taste of Tea Party rule and threw up, as in projectile vomiting.

I caught that on leave in the Philippines. You haven't known misery until you've had to run to the head to blow it out one end then spin around and blow it out the other. Disgusting. Ended up in the ships sick bay, because it went on so long I nearly dehydrated. I couldn't keep anything in, not even water. One of the many things I feel fortunate to have survived.

JK, I understand that was a notable and memorable experience. Most of the time we go around with our bags of guts and don't think about how focked up they can get. It's amazing both how badly wrong things can go, and how amazingly resilient and self-regulating the system usually is.

Actually, given my reckless and manifold drunken debaucheries, I am very lucky those were the only souvenirs I picked up in the PI. Olongapo was quite the degenerates Disneyland, back in the day.
