I think in the broader sense that social media may be destroying America.
I include myself of course obviously since I am here.

People don't critically think they just react to what's out there.

I am starting to have the idea that posting or writing on the internet should be licensed like ham radio is (well or used to be lol since who does ham radio now?).

In other words I miss having to get a publisher or a record contract and having to pay for stuff that has been deemed worthy to be sold and read or listened to on stereo. The profit motive in music and literature did have its positives.

I now find myself responding to some guy in TX with a smart phone when 30 years ago I would never had him on my schedule.

I think we should be able to go on ebay and buy Technics SL-1200 tonearms so we can listen in bliss without the damn skipping. But for posting we should earn it and be worthy.

I know that is against the first amendment but maybe we wouldn't have Trump either lol.

Well there's a remote chance the assholes that support it will try to ram it thru during the lame duck session, but I don't think they will have the balls to try that shit with Trump being the President-elect. If Trump can get his trade policies enacted, that will be a big plus IMO.
