At what Time was America Truly A Democracy
Our forefathers had a plan,I am sure but was it really for what they said it was.Or just fancy words put on Paper?History say our inception as a Sovern seperate democracy was founded on persecution from the Crown.But did we not just become another sattelite for the Elite of that time to open up new Possibilitys of power in the new world.Something they knew was enevitible and addressed accordingly.

A governmental system drafting it's foundations upon defining any human as less than the full measure of a man is -- by definition -- not a Democracy or valid Constitutional Republic.
Sum? We just set up our own Monarchy with the King "dying" every 4-8 years.

Well I always remeber the things that we seperated for like taxation without representation,and still I do not see a difference from when it all started.seems taxation is still one sided along with the majority of the laws on the books and living standards for the poor class versus the rich.

Just words on paper. Most of the "founders" had no desire to have real freedom & democracy. If they did, it would have included everyone, not just rich white men. And all of these fools trying to return America to the supposed core values of that era are just asking for the sort of tyranny that existed then..... And they refuse to see it. The intervening 200+ years have been a march towards freedom, not away from it.
It's the ugly truth, right-wingers. Just face it.

No not just fancy reading.
In Mathematics we can make a function definable by restricting its domain.
The analogy here is the words were addressed to whites.
The democracy practiced was the best, and a vast improvement over those
of other white societies.

White-male-property owners. In other words-----themselves. Hardly a "democracy". Maybe the best of the day, if that's what you're getting at. I can agree with that. But, as I stated before, I believe the intervening years have been a march toward democracy and freedom.......not away from it as many seem to think, these days.

I just think it is bad that a lot of people of all ethinicities gave of themselves and lives believing in a Lie.I know it is naive thinking but that is the thought those that gave for this so called land of the free.Is anarchy the only way to clean this up.because I don'st see it happening in an election booth.
