I didn't say what you understood me to have said. As for the murderous despots we've supported there, how about the Shah of Iran, Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarek, Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq (Pakistan), and the House of Saud for starters?

It was actually a place to extend what I thought was the very good conversation between mostly DQ and ice about Hitler, but I didn't want to use Nazi or Hitler in the thread title.

But we were just told we are the murderous country for going into Iraq to kill Saddam. We can't have it both ways now can we?
