Part of me keeps saying, "if you break it, you own it"

We bought Iraq to the tune of 2 trillion bucks (with a nod to the fact that this was pretty much a direct transfer of funds from the American people to the MIC) . What is our moral obligation now?

We killed the parents, so do we babysit them until they grow up or give them the keys to the house and wash our hands of it?

Kinda makes you appreciate the situation as it was when Sadam was in power. Makes you wonder if maybe we should have left well enough alone...

Remember when Republicans were giving Obama hell for killing Al Qaeda members in drone strikes? With his hands folded, I guess.

Not wondering at all. I'm pretty sure we should have left it alone. Just like I'm pretty sure we should leave Ukraine alone. And Syria. And........

Well, you get the picture.

Yeah, well it's Obama. So, if he kills them it's bad and if he doesn't kill them it's bad. He's our first "Blood thirsty murdering tyrant who's soft on terrorism and hasn't the guts to stand up to Americas enemies while being a total warmonger President".

Yeah, I know---.

As if there was ever any doubt as to how this would end.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

I think the Obama Administration should evacuate the Embassy right now before ISIS arrives and tries to enter Baghdad through the Sunni sector of the city. This could get ugly fast. Richard Engel on MSNBC was making the point that the city is now much more segregated along Sunni Shia lines...in other words the Western part of the city is pro-Sunni and anti-Malaki.

This could make Benghazi look very small. Hope I am wrong.
