Of course to any intelligent human being this trailer is obvious propaganda that completely ignores the events surrounding the "Dixiecrats" and the "States Rights Party" which opposed the Civil Rights movement WITHIN the Democratic Party.

The truth is that bigots, just like everyone else, support whatever party they believe reflects their "values" at the moment. Bigots, just like everyone else, are drawn to rhetoric that meshes with their ideology, in the present.

I don't know very many bigots in my corner of the world that have much use for the Democratic Party in 2016. In fact, it seems to me they're pretty much ALL marching to Trumps tune. And, I'm thinking Trump chose to run as a Republican and spews the nasty rhetoric he has been spewing for a reason.

Yes, but strictly speaking, he never went to prison. He served 8 months in a "community confinement center" and is serving a 5 year probation. Got off much too lightly. Kids caught with a doobie in the glove box get a helluva lot more than that.
