Rodolfo Rodriguez was on his daily walk near his home in South Los Angeles when he accidentally bumped into a young girl while trying to pass her on the sidewalk. The child’s mother allegedly erupted by shoving him to the ground and smashing his head with a brick.

The horrific incident, which also included four men kicking and cursing the elderly man, was captured by a bystander who called the police.

Rodriguez suffered a broken cheekbone and two broken ribs, in addition to facial injuries. He remains hospitalized according to KABC.
