One thing is plain, Hamas attack on Israel has been to Russia's advantage for their invasive land grab in Ukraine, whether or not they supported if not instigated it for that reason.

The reality is that Ukraine is disappearing. According to the Russians, it was Boris Johnson who convinced Zelensky not to sign a neutrality pact. Such a pact could be signed where the West would officially guarantee an abridged Ukraine.

Syria might have to concede land and oil to the USA. I do not see the US giving up that section of Syria for the foreseeable future. Neither do I see Russia giving up Crimea or the Israelis parts of the West Bank. Finnland after giving the Soviets a rough time also conceded land.
