Sounds like this guy, like you, has been brainwashed by Limblow.

I’ve been vacationing in Pinot Noir country all week, McMinnville, OR. Stumbled into their UFO festival, apparently it’s been an annual shindig for the past 19 years. Most were there for the fun dress-like-an-alien parade, but you would have fit right in with the few seriously demented tin foil hat types!

Uh, Finn? When you stop hyperventilating, you might notice that Penn is not actually in the White House, nor does hi represent any part of the Republican party or Devin Nunes. The tactic of pulling out all your bogie men in an attempt the debate / respond to Penn's arguments isn't gonna work here.

Can't help but notice that the wine isn't helping the usually lousy quality of your retorts, however.

The intent of this thread seems to be the usual rabble rousing from the discombobulated Trump wing of the GOP. Infantile response is to scream when you don't get your way.

So why doesn't the GOP-Trump cabal shut down the Mueller investigation?
No collusion, no obstruction of justice, so what are we waiting for?

No, that's not the point of this thread. You've missed the point yet again.

I won't dignify Penn's article with an argument. He's become a Fox News gadfly in the mold of Dick Morris and Alan Dershowitz.

Ya mean someone who's not concerned about calling a spade a spade where the Clintons are concerned? Yeah, I can see where that would bother you.

Yet, even your beloved WaPo names Halper as an informant who began "working for the FBI" and assisting in the investigation.

Still wondering why Obama's FBI had a plant inside the Trump campaign as part of their counter-intel investigation. However, even though there was clearly a breach of the Dem's party's servers and emails obtained from campaign staff as a result of a phishing campaign, there was no effort to investigate those servers or put a plant inside the Dem campaign. Hell, I suspect an aggressive investigator could have made a case to have those servers subpoenaed if there was really any interest in getting to the bottom of "Russian interference" in the 2016 election.

But I'm sure none of that disparity seems odd to you.

Trump surrounded himself with (unregistered) foreign agents (Flynn, Manafort, Prince, Gates ...) and other unsavory misfits/criminals (Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, Page, Papadopolous, Broidy, Nader, Don Jr....), and then has a fucking conniption when all their illegal actions are exposed. What did he expect after surrounding himself with lying, unethical, immoral, traitorous clowns?

I listened to the entire alleged conspiracy courtesy of Rush Limbaugh today, as it seems you likely did (although anywhere on Wingnut News, the alleged conspiracy is the same). It's just the latest in the antics of yer boy, Devin Nunes. It'll flop just like the rest did. Trump and his minions made their beds. Let 'em sleep in it without all your idiotic conspiracy theories to try to rationalize or excuse their behavior.

This has nothing to do with Clinton. Mid term elections are coming up and majority of the country is for Mueller's investigations to continue. This puts the Trump presidency and the GOP under a cloud of suspicion. The large number of GOP legislators giving up their seats voluntarily does not bode well for the party.

So Trump colluding with the GOP is continuing to promote that somehow his campaign was compromised. This will keep the GOP base screaming while continuing to alienate the rest of the country. In short they are worried about their turnout. No jobs, no infrastructure, no trade agreements; just a gigantic deficit result of a so called middle-class tax cut.

So the intent of the administration and their cohortss in Congress is just to rabble rouse. Isn't FBI mostly GOP leaning and if someone had ordered the FBI to snoop of Trump's campaign, wouldn't someone within the FBI have leaked it?

Trump's behavior vis-a-vis the DOJ is Exhibit A of why we needed a Special Counsel to investigate him and his crime family.
