Moderation is not a subject for the open forums folks. Take it to the private messaging system.

Jesus Christ Ice.
Why don't you just man the fuck up and say what you mean?
Say "I want Tom Joad Banned".
See, it's not all that hard.

'Four Post staffers win Polk journalism awards'
"Four members of The Washington Post staff won George Polk journalism awards for work published last year, it was announced Sunday.
The award for political reporting went to David A. Fahrenthold for articles he wrote during the presidential campaign about activities that Donald Trump had tried to keep from public view.
Fahrenthold was cited for a “dogged pursuit” of Trump that led to a year-long string of articles offering a picture “that Trump had long sought to keep secret.”
In announcing the 68th annual Polk awards, Long Island University said that Fahrenthold unmasked “deceptive and illegal charitable activities” on the part of Trump’s foundation.
The university said that Fahrenthold’s work also led to “a blockbuster — the existence of a video” in which Trump “bragged about sexually assaulting women.” It shaped political discourse for days, the university added." WP

Well done, Mr. Fahrenthold. Well done.

That's what you say. Trump says they are the enemies of the people.
I still expect them to take violent action against these enemies.

When Pete was here I didn't agree with anything he believed, but he was a decent person and never insulted people. He would get mad about a policy not a person. The two current admins are the same way. I think the biggest difference between then (2011) is that now certain people are just attacking to attack.
I have been nasty too but I sort of realize when I do it. Sometimes I think TJ doesn't really believe in Trump but is just using his so called support of him as a beard to level attacks against others he feels inferior to on the forum.

The Sedition Act, fortunately for all of us certainly including TJ, was inoperative at the end of WWI, and repealed in 1920. Opinion is it would be considered unconstitutional today.
It is the sort of thing fascists would look back on with longing, though, per TJ's wikipedia link:
Quote:
It forbade the use of "disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language" about the United States government, its flag, or its armed forces or that caused others to view the American government or its institutions with contempt.

I hope TJ's right, that nothing but more bad talk from Trump is in the offing.
I hate to have to keep hoping things like that. Seems to indicate something is really wrong.

In times of war when the nation is under dire threat what was unconstitutional can indeed become constitutional. It happened during the Civil War, WWI and WWII. Perception is everything in matters like this.

True observation, however one may view the claimed justification.
It's sort of like the reason I'm less worried than I might be about the claim that the IC so-called 'Deep State' is cooking up extra-constitutional action against Trump.
