Mosque Open Door Day In Germany

I visited a mosque today, six kilometers away from my hometown. It was very impressive, all these overwhelming friendly and wamhearted people...

The outside of the building is totally plain and bare, but the inside is marvellous, even splendid. I did not dare to take a photo in this sanctuary. After the visit I took a turkish black tea outside the mosque.

This was a very nice noon. I recommend it to every German who suffers from xenophobia or islamophobia.

Looks like a beautiful fall day in the Swartzwald, Chris. Making new friends and enjoying other cultures is a good thing.

Very!

We have a small mosque here in Petaluma, population ~60,000. The exterior of the building is quite plain, even homely. I wonder what the inside looks like.

(By the way, though it's rather austere, I think the mosque you visited is good looking.)

The population of Haslach is about 6000. I think that the smaller a community is, the more difficult it is to be tolerant. So the integration of the islamic population in this small town in this fine quantity and quality is pretty remarkable.

A new Mosque (or rather a reconstructed one?) has recently been opened in Moscow.

This one is huge and can serve 10,000.

Opened 2015, Sept 23 and attended Putin, Abbas, Erdogan.
