You know, lately, a lot of the time I'm with you. At least right up until you start citing YouTube videos from debunked "nurse-educators" who recommend Ivermectin and other nonsense as credible sources.

Yeah, but check the data. Is the data bogus?

I have no idea. With that guy's track record, he could have pulled it out of his ass.

I believe it’s because all these conditions are now considered to be on the Autism spectrum:

Actually there is a fair chance I’m on the spectrum, as are a lot of people who obsess about something as silly as a stereo…

Spectrum is an inaccurate word here, as it compares to the electromagnetic spectrum, in with a single variable, wavelength, accounts for the variance. In this case of human neurological variance, I think it's more complex, with more than one variable.

The data is an official one but there are cautions. Even with the cautions why is California such an outlier.

It could simply be a matter of children in California being evaluated, and then diagnosed, more often. Also there are just a lot of people in CA.

The *rate* at which autism is diagnosed is actually in line with many other states:

Yep. It's a result of broadening the definition of what constitutes autism and an increased level of evaluation.

This is typical of someone forming a belief without evidence, they desperately look for evidence to support their preconceived belief.

And come up empty again.

Conspiracy theorists do it all the time.
