What up with SK?

Surprised I haven't seen anything on here about it yet. I still have friends working in our intel communities, we were caught with our pants down on this one.

Our discussion then turned to if or probably when DJT gives it a try

I take it you're talking about South Korea. While we were caught with our pants down, the opposition party there was too, though martial law isn't exactly a new thing there. It was pretty serious back in the 1980's. I use to go over there back then to teach courses in construction management, contracting and quality control. Loved the place and the people.

Autocrats are eratic and unpredictable sometimes. So is popular reaction, which was immediate and powerful in this case. There will probably be a new president real soon....

I have been watching this in the news. From the reporting on TV if I were in ROK right now. Would be worried with the prospects of the approaching Trump term also.

With their President now in office and turmoil he caused with his power grabbing attempts. Unrest uncertainty weakens them and with Trump already a fan boy of Kim. No telling what is next ahead for the country.

There are a lot of US forces in country that could be pulled out overnight.
