That does suck and I agree it's going too far. The law is an ass for sure.
For the record I am no longer welcome in the Republican party. They call people like me RINOs, but I would argue it's really the new populists that aren't Republican - small government, fiscal responsibility, national security... I don't see any of those things anymore. The parties are going through a shift, it happens occasionally. The Dems might be in for a few surprises too. Consider Biden did continue a few of the Orange one's policies. For the moment though bask in the glory of looking like the only adults in the room  And, the new right is going to be tossed out for some time over this IMO. Pete
